L.A. Witt (Author)

L.A. Witt is an abnormal M/M romance writer who has finally been released from the purgatorial corn maze of Omaha, Nebraska, and now spends her time on the southwestern coast of Spain. In between wondering how she didn’t lose her mind in Omaha, she explores the country with her husband, several clairvoyant hamsters, and an ever-growing herd of rabid plot bunnies. She also has substantially more time on her hands these days, as she has recruited a small army of mercenaries to search South America for her nemesis, romance author Lauren Gallagher, but don’t tell Lauren. And definitely don’t tell Lori A. Witt or Ann Gallagher. Neither of those twits can keep their mouths shut…

Amelia Faulkner (Author)

Amelia Faulkner was born in Thame, Oxfordshire, and sprouted upward in short order. The ground around Thame is reasonably mucky, especially in the winter, and she can’t be blamed for wanting to get away from it.

Raised on a steady diet of Star Trek and Doctor Who, Amelia stood no chance in not becoming a grade-A geek. She has sat on the board of the British Fantasy Society, contributed fiction and fluff to various published roleplaying games, and written non-fiction for SciFiNow and SFX Magazines. For every positive there is an equal and opposite negative, and Amelia is forced to admit that she loves Wild Wild West.

In her spare time she enjoys travel, photography, walking her Corgi, and trying to convince her friends to replay the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game with all the Goblins decks.

Mia Kerick (Author)

Mia Kerick is the mother of four exceptional children—a daughter in law school, another in dance school, a third in school at Mia’s alma mater, Boston College, and her lone son still in high school.  She has managed to write and publish 20 books of  LGBTQ romance when not editing National Honor Society essays, offering opinions on college and law school applications, helping to create dance bios, and reviewing English papers.

Her husband of twenty-three years has been told by many that he has the patience of Job, but don’t ask Mia about this, as it is a sensitive subject.

Mia focuses her stories on the emotional growth of troubled young people and their relationships. She has a great affinity for the tortured hero. (There is, at a minimum, one in each book.) As a teen, Mia filled spiral-bound notebooks with tales of said tortured heroes, most of whom happened to strongly resemble lead vocalists of 1980s big-hair bands, and stuffed them under her mattress for safekeeping. She is thankful to Dreamspinner Press, Harmony Ink Press, CoolDudes Publishing, Evernight Publishing, and Interlude Press for providing her with alternate places to stash her stories.

Mia is a social liberal and cheers for each and every victory made in the name of human rights. Her only major regret: never having taken typing or computer class in school, destining her to a life consumed with two-fingered pecking and constant prayer to the Gods of Technology.

E.Davis (Author)

Bestselling gay romance author E. Davies grew up moving constantly, which taught him what people have in common, the ways relationships are formed, and the dangers of “miscellaneous” boxes. As a young gay author whose role models were characters punished for their sexuality, Ed prefers his stories lightly dramatic, full of optimism and hope.

Now out and proud, he writes full-time, goes on long nature walks, tries to fill his passport, drinks piña coladas on the beach, flees from cute guys, coos over fuzzy animals (especially bees), and is liable to tilt his head and click his tongue if you don't use your turn signal.

JP Kenwood (author)

When she doesn’t have her nose buried in a dusty old history tome, JP Kenwood relishes reading and writing plot-packed erotic m/m fiction with strong romantic elements sprinkled with humor and angst. Her current alternate history saga, Dominus, features an ensemble of memorable characters—masters and slaves, senators and soldiers, lawyers and freedmen, wives and whores—who live, laugh, and lust during the Golden Age of Imperial Rome. Dominus is an m/m historical tale set during the reign of the Emperor Trajan (AD 98-117). What if Trajan had been the custodian of two boys instead of only one? What if Hadrian had been privy to secrets that could damage the political authority of his older and more successful fellow imperial ward, Gaius Fabius? What if a Roman general had fallen in love with his captive Dacian prince turned slave? Could a powerful Roman aristocrat of noble ancestry have been deliberately erased from history?

JP spends most days writing fiction and non-fiction, researching historical curiosities, traveling the world, cooking gourmet fare for her handsome husband, and relaxing with a good glass of wine, or two.

Josh Lanyon (Author)

A distinct voice in gay fiction, and the bestselling author of over sixty titles of classic Male/Male fiction featuring twisty mystery, kickass adventure, and unapologetic man-on-man romance, Josh Lanyon has been called "arguably the single most influential voice in m/m romance today."

Today Josh's work has been translated into nine languages. The FBI thriller Fair Game was the first Male/Male title to be published by Harlequin Mondadori, the largest romance publisher in Italy. The Adrien English series was awarded the All Time Favorite Couple by the Goodreads M/M Romance Group. Queeromance Ink (Company)

Queeromance Ink is the brainchild of J. Scott Coatsworth, with a lot of help from Kaje Harper and his husband Mark Guzman. The idea for the site was born in the aftermath of the closure of All Romance eBooks, when Scott, Kaje and other authors were looking for a place they could share their books and connect with readers.

Unlike ARe and other sites, we are not a distributor. Instead, we maintain a directory of LGBTIQA romance and related books, with links to purchase them from a variety of other sources, including publishers, distributors, and in many cases, the authors themselves.

Our mission: to connect queer romance readers to the authors and books that they love.

Clare London (Author)

Clare London took her pen name from the city where she lives, loves, and writes. A lone, brave female in a frenetic, testosterone-fuelled family home, she juggles her writing with her other day job as an accountant.

She’s written in many genres and across many settings, with award-winning novels and short stories published both online and in print. She says she likes variety in her writing while friends say she’s just fickle, but as long as both theories spawn good fiction, she’s happy. Most of her work features male/male romance and drama with a healthy serving of physical passion, as she enjoys both reading and writing about strong, sympathetic, and sexy characters.

Clare currently has several novels sulking at that tricky chapter three stage and plenty of other projects in mind... she just has to find out where she left them in that frenetic, testosterone-fuelled family home.

Clare loves to hear from readers, and you can contact her here:

Feliz Faber (Author)

Feliz Faber—reader, writer, translator

I’ve been a reader first, a reviewer next—starting with Jessewave’s, then Mrs. Condit’s, and most recently I used to be with Brandilyn’s crew at Prismbookalliance®—until  I finally dared to try my hand at writing. My original pieces are in English, but I also translate other people's work into German. The latter has become increasingly important to me, because translating has a very particular magic of its own. Putting the pictures I see in my head while reading into the words of my own language, knowing I'll make the stories I love so much accessible to others who otherwise would've never known they existed - that's almost heady.

As for my own stories, most of them start with a sentence that just pops up in my mind one day. I have a whole folder with single sentences on my hard drive; most of them will never make it into a story, others might perhaps end up as first sentences of chapters or paragraphs in other stories. I’m the queen of one-liners.

I draw inspiration from things I read, be it newspapers, novels of other genres, non-fiction books, even trade journals. For example, Airport falconer Hunter Devereaux from Desert Falcon and City Falcon had his very first beginnings in an article from our local rag that portrayed a female falconer who kept the parking garages at Stuttgart airport dove-free with her birds.

K.C. Wells (Author)

People often ask me...

...how I got started as a writer.

I've always written, right from an early age. I was always writing stories as a child, and as I grew up, I had the idea of writing a novel, like so many people do. My first book was based on an idea that I kicked around for about a year, before I actually decided to do something about it. But once I started writing it, it wouldn't stop coming! Actually sitting down to write stemmed from the desire to do something creative at a time in my life when I was at a very low point. My writing was the only positive thing in my life, and once the process had started, it simply flowed out of me.

 ...why write gay romance?

I first discovered erotic romances in 2009. One such book featured two male characters who were bisexual, and their scenes together were something I'd never encountered before - but definitely found intriguing. After searching for similar books (f/m/m), I took the plunge and tried a gay erotic romance - and I was hooked!

The vast majority of gay romances that I came across had a Happy Ever After ending, which I loved, and characters who weren't perfect by any means, but who met, fell in love and wanted to be monogamous.

Dreamspinner Press was one of the first publishers of gay romance that I discovered, and I quickly began to build up my own library of ebooks. Those writers truly inspired me: they are the main reason that I decided to fire up the laptop and finally write something of my own.

T.J. Masters (Author)

I’m a 60-year-old Author and Life Coach living in Hertfordshire just to the north of London, England. In 2009 I took early retirement from a 33 year teaching career and decided to follow a new path for myself. After qualifying as a Life Coach, I found that I was coaching a couple of authors who were going through the process of giving birth to the book which “had always been inside them”.

With my own lifelong passion for books, learning and the sharing of knowledge, I woke up to the feeling that I had several books to write and less than half a lifetime left to do it in. So here I am, and I’d better get on with it! As for the kind of books I’m writing….well, let’s just say that I decided to channel my 40 years of experience in the gay BDSM lifestyle into a genre that would most appreciate it!
